The Executive Director, Kenneth Harry Msiska attends the Internet Governance Forum (IGF)

The Executive Director, Kenneth Harry Msiska, joined other ICT Activists from all over the world at the recently concluded Internet Governance Forum (IGF) held at the United Nations at Nairobi (UNON). The Sixth Annual IGF Meeting was held in Nairobi, Kenya on 27-30 September 2011 The theme of the Forum was: 'Internet as a catalyst for change: access, development, freedoms and innovation'.

This year's Forum is viewed as a great success as it attracted well over 2000 participants, and had 122 Workshops, Dynamic Coalitions meetings and Open Fora. Participants actively engaged in discussions on a broad range of topics relating to this year's main theme.

During the forum Kenneth participated in the workshops focusing on safeguarding the youth in the c cyberspace, participated at the Africa IGF and also held discussions with officials from Regional and International Organizations including the Secretary General of ITU, Dr. Hamadoun Toure.
